Wedgeon Creek
The Wedgeon Creek area includes incredible hiking trails through the rugged mountainous Wedgeon Valley, a marsh and slough. One hour hike to Wedgeon Falls. Several varities of fish inhabit the waters of the river and creek. There are scores of different species of birds including raptors and water fowl. Black bear, deer and other wild animals call this home. There is camping allowed in campsite area. There is water access only to Widgeon Creek by, canoe, row boat, kayak launched from Grant Narrows boat launch. There is canoe rentals here. Junction of Harris Road and Lougheed Highway, north on Harris Rd, east on Old Dewdney Trunk Rd, north on Neeves Rd to Park where boat launch is located.
