Kanaka Creek Fish Fence is located junction of 240th street and Kanaka Creek Rd. This fence is used to count returning Coho and Chum that left Kanaka Creek Hatchery 3 to 4 years ago. They are returning to spawn and die. Trapped salmon are counted, weighed, sexed and released or used as breeding stock for Kanaka creek Hatchery.
